simulating a hex file in vmlab

hi all,

can a hex file be loaded & simulated in vmlab.if yes can someone please enlighten me on the sequence of actions to achieve this.

Hi,

See in the Help a general description of the .PROGRAM directive.  It admits a thing like this:

.PROGRAM  "myHexCode.hex"

In such case, unfortunately, no debug info can be used, but you must be able to simulate your code.

I remember that this case was used by some users with IAR compiler,  whose debug info is not supported by VMLAB.  Is this your case?
